Producer/Director: HOWIE MILLER

Howie Miller has worked as a writer, director and producer of television shows and movies seen on MTV, FOX, ABC, STYLE, E!, SYFI, and CURRENT TV, including writing MTV's smash hit My Life as Liz, producing ABC's The Bachelor, and writing the screenplay to the feature film Lake Placid 2 for SYFI.  Presently, he is the Supervising Producer for the STYLE’s new show about The Spice Girl Mel B, and partner in the production company Nice Guy Media. Before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television and filmmaking, Howie graduated with a B.S. in Business from the University of Virginia where he was named the 1996 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.  He graduated from Villanova School of Law in 1999 and practiced as an attorney before pursuing a career in entertainment.

Producer/Co-Director: ALEX WEINRESS

Alex Weinress is an Award-Winning filmmaker with a passion for sports. He recently produced, directed, shot and edited the documentary feature, The Last Game. The film premiered at the acclaimed South by Southwest Film Festival in 2002, won Best Documentary at the Sonoma Valley Film Festival, and captured the Special Jury Award at the 2003 Worldfest. In collaboration with Jim Lampley’s Crystal Spring Productions and Chuck D’s Creamwerks, the film aired on ESPN in August 2002 and was released on DVD in December 2003. USA Today’s Mike Clark gave the film a perfect four star review, writing, “The Last Game does for football what Hoop Dreams did for basketball.” Weinress directed his first narrative feature, Superphan, in 1997. The film won a People's Choice Award at the 1998 Reject Film Festival, was a 1998 Kodak New Visions finalist, and was nominated for a 1998 Spirit Award. Weinress resides with his wife and two children in Sydney, Australia.

David Baum has edited many notable documentaries: Krumped, the first film by celebrated photographer and music video director David LaChapelle, which won an honorable mention in the shorts category at Sundance; Parents of the Year, which won the Audience Award for best short at the L.A. Film Festival; The Ballad of Ramblin’ Jack, which won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance; and Trembling Before G-d (assistant editor) which won the Golden Teddy Award at the Berlin Film Festival David also works extensively in short form, cutting music videos and commercials for a range of international clients.

Composer/ Music Supervisor: ROB WILLIAMSON

Robb Williamson got his start in music playing bass in various bands in Seattle in the mid 90’s sharing bills with like’s of Nirvana and Soundgarden. Later, Robb became infatuated in electronic music and started “Eat Knowledge” recordings. This led Robb to a passion for music composition while creating moods with instrumental music. In 2000 Robb wrote the script for the movie “Dandelion” and as the movie reached final stages of editing he realized he would like to try and score it as well. The film went on to debut at Sundance ’04 and win many awards worldwide. After Dandelion ran its course, Robb went on to score “The Youth In Us” which debut at Sundance ’05, score shows for MTV, contribute Songs to “Underworld Evolution” starring Kate Beckinsale and is currently scoring a new documentary about Hurricane Katrina with director and R.E.M front man Michael Stipe.

Executive Producer: ERIC PETER-KAISER

Eric Peter-Kaiser was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. He brings a well-rounded knowledge of sports and film as well as enthusiasm to Veritas. Peter-Kaiser played competitive hockey until the age of 22 going through the Junior ‘A’ ranks in the BCHL and then moving on to play at SUNY Potsdam in New York. While studying acting at SUNY Potsdam he landed a leading role in the movie MIRACLE playing Mark Johnson opposite Kurt Russell. MIRACLE went on to win Best Sports Movie of the year at the ESPY awards in 2004. Peter-Kaiser is still working as an actor having worked on several other films, television, and commercials. In 2004 Peter-Kaiser became an owner of the Nanaimo Clippers Junior ‘A’ hockey team and saw the team have two of its most successful seasons ever winning the BCHL and Western Canadian championships. He currently resides in Los Angeles and is on the board of directors of Island Gateway Films.
